HEALING FROM ON HIGH

“Ah Lord God! Behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great
power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”

OUTREACH EVANGELISM

Our last short but powerful ministry time in Africa was marked by the healing presence of our Lord Jesus Christ! Brother Sohail Peter from Lahore, Pakistan was delayed in coming to Kenya by the Pakistani authorities who almost didn’t let him out of the country; but he did arrive one day late and ministry began with our team in the Christian Generation Paradise Church, pastored by Bishop Gerald Njeru. We had a chance to hear Bishop Njeru’s personal testimony of how he was taken up to “the heavenly Paradise” and then given a chance to come back down to serve our living Lord. The Holy Spirit fell upon us in his church with the Assistant Pastor coming forward with many others for prayer and healing. It was a special time of “anointed” worship and prayers as it seemed we were gripped and brought face to face with God.

Other meetings in the city of Molo were centered upon Jesus who is the Healer and Great Physician. One man, an educator, practically ran forward to receive prayer for healing as he came and kneeled on the dirt ground before us. The Lord touched him and healed him of a shoulder and arm injury (he couldn’t raise his left arm) in front of our eyes. Then his wife and child came in tears to join him at the front and it seemed that this event broke loose the yokes of bondage and many people were prayed for and received wonderful blessings as they cried and poured out their hearts to God.

“Oh, that men would praise the Lord for his goodness and for his
wonderful works to the children of men.”
                                                                Psalm 107:8

THE AFRICAN COVENANT LEADERS MEETING

Our first meeting was in Nairobi as we met in a Conference setting to present The African Covenant of Oneness, Agreement, and Unity to 67 key national leaders. Pastor Vincent Sangalo came in from Kampala, Uganda and told how he gathered together Pastors and leaders in his country who proceeded to go forth and obtain 2 million signatures of The Covenant. The signatures were then presented to the Ugandan Parliament and then followed up with a statement by Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni of personal and national repentance of sin. Pastor Vincent’s testimony of how this was done motivated the Kenyan participants which has led them to form a large committee from their group who will then follow up to obtain Regional leaders. A follow-up meeting is scheduled for April 20th. One member of the group, Bishop Moses Meeli Ngusa from Maasailand (a WCO Advisor) who has recently been appointed a Kenyan Senator will take the Kenyan signatures to their Parliament when obtained. Our objective is to get the 3 countries of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania forming an alliance of Biblical oneness, agreement and unity in an uncompromising stand for Biblical truths and traditional family values which will then be presented to Western countries. Right now it appears that from their own statements and beliefs Western civilized nations are heading on the “wrong side” of God.

NEW DAWN COMMUNITY, LAIKIPIA, KENYA

During this trip we were able to help officiate in the Graduation of two of our New Dawn classes as well as welcome in 25 new orphan students to the school. We have now graduated 96 students of which 29 are accepted into Kenya’s top Universities. We were also able to see improvements on the New Dawn campus of 2 new greenhouses almost completed, a completed outdoor pit latrine, growth of our mango trees on 2 acres, 5 new acres of land available for purchase (giving us 35 total), and discuss the priority needs ahead of us with our Director, James Kariuki. Please continue to pray for our wonderful disadvantaged orphaned students who are now catching the attention of the media and the country.

BLESSED IS THE NATION WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD – Psalm 33:12

The country of Kenya has just completed an Election which was won by Uhuru Kenyatta, son of the founding President, Jomo Kenyatta. This has been one of the most important elections in the nation’s history as Kenyatta and his Vice President are both Christians. They celebrated their popular vote victory by calling a National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving to God. Kenya has been a Christian nation with the Bible taught in their Public Schools. As I drove down the street I saw Amazing Grace Secondary School, Mustard Seed Faith Elementary School, practically every bus with large letters of “Jesus Saves” or a Biblical saying, churches on practically every corner, and then I was passed by a motorbike with a flap on the back wheel which said “God is Love”.

We continue to operate completely by faith. Where does the money come from to do all these things? We don’t know, but God knows! From the beginning when Damaris and I prayed in the early morning hours in a park in Irvine, there occurred a supernatural drawing of creatures to us – ducks came out of the pond, rabbits and squirrels came out of the bushes, a praying mantis came to our feet, and other creatures came and we had no bread or food. We took this as a sign from God that we should go forth and the Lord would provide and send what was needed to accomplish what He wanted to do.

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP!
