What a blessing it is to report how God Almighty has provided financial support for the progressing development of our International Outreach Center in Bahati, Kenya!

Fresh, clear, pure water is like gold in Africa – not only for the drinking water of the local community to prevent disease, dysentery, and typhoid; but also for the growing of crops in times of severe draught which is common in Kenya.  No progress and nothing can be done without water, which we almost take for granted in the West.

PRAISE THE LORD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!  WCO has recently received all the funds needed to complete all the expenses for the drilling of a new water well on the property.  In fact we have just received a report that the work is well underway and they have hit water at 150 meters or 450 feet down.  They are now casing the well, bringing in the irrigation piping for 10 acres, two 10,000 gallon water tanks, the generator, and are getting bids on grading/leveling the road up to the property.

This phase in the development of the International Center is crucial and critical to future ministry development.  From the well we will provide fresh, pure drinking water for needy people in the community.  Also, from the water we will be able to grow agricultural crops such as potatoes, beans, tomatoes, cabbage, wheat, sorghum, corn, etc. and sell in the open market place.  The funds generated will be used to conduct Outreach Ministry in the form of Pastors and Leaders Conferences, Youth Conferences, and Church Meetings in the rural, village areas of Eldoret, Molo, Elburgon, Nakuru, Ngoro, Bahati, Subukia, Nyahururu, and Naivasha in the central highlands of the Great Rift Valley in Kenya.  Also, due to its central location, The Center will also be a “Home Base” for Outreach Ministry throughout other parts of Kenya as well as Tanzania, and Uganda.

If there is anyone that I would want praying for me it is the people of Kenya.  Prayer has kept that country in the “hands of God” and has made Kenya a spiritual Lighthouse to East Africa and even to the continent of Africa!  We have contacts and relationships with about 4000 Pastors in East Africa and your “Uncle Mzungu” aka “Uncle Whiteman” (a term affectionately given to the writer) is now considered to be an “Insider” rather than a visiting, outside evangelist.  We love the people of East Africa, where I believe the center of Christianity is moving, because Psalm 33:12 says – “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.”

America is pushing God out of its society, the churches in Europe are almost empty with Islam filling the void, Western Civilization is on the wrong side of God when it comes to marriage between a man and a woman, abortion is rampant in China, America, Australia and Europe, and secular materialism, and a “whatever feels good” attitude now prevails in elite cultures.

Kenya has been in a spiritual revival and awakening of the masses to God for the past 50 years and there is no decline; but, rather, a continuing hunger for more of the Lord and the Word of God, especially among the young people.  They want to know how to come closer to God through Jesus Christ.  The people in the country fear God, even the unsaved.  It is this attitude of the heart that God blesses and I am unreservedly committed to following where God Almighty goes and that is why we are in East Africa rather than Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Japan, or even South Africa where we have conducted ministry in the past.

Our mission is World Christian Outreach!  The International Outreach Center in Bahati, Kenya is where we will be launching out in prayer and active ministry in accordance with Matthew 4:23 and 9:35 – “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and disease among the people.”  Jesus went out to where the people were.  He went to the countryside where people were hungry, hurting, and needy, where none was available to help them.  Jesus’ ministry is our ministry!  We follow Him!  Who else should we follow!  The greatest thing that has ever happened on this earth is the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead!  He is alive and He loves us – He gave His life for us – He came to seek and to save those that were and are lost!  He is a loving Savior, a gracious and merciful Lord, and He is Immanuel, God with us!  Amen!

We believe in the power and present presence of the mighty Holy Spirit!  “And ye shall receive power, the Holy Ghost coming upon you” it says in Acts 1:8.  This power and presence of God has not been diminished – it is the Holy Spirit coming upon us – a present participle, the continuous outpouring of the Holy Ghost upon us now, as in days of old!  The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:2-5 – “I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.  And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.  And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.  That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”  Lord, let that be so in our ministry!

Our mission is to be involved in the “perfecting of the saints and the edifying of (bringing into maturity) the body of Christ” as it says in Ephesians 4:12.  This was recently pointed out to me again by a dear brother in the Lord who believes that our ministry is called to be “sent ones” for the equipping of the saints in East Africa.

Thank you so much for your prayers!  The Bible says “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” and we believe that!  Please keep praying for a mighty move of God in our midst for “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal; but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds”!
