Dear Friends,

Having just returned safe and sound from a great and glorious “Adventure in the Spirit” in Tanzania, I want to thank you for all of your prayers and financial help and to give you a summary recap of the important things that transpired.

We ministered in the 3 cities of Bukoba in the northwest, Tabora in the central, and Kigoma, the farthest western city in Tanzania on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Our team was composed of Evangelist Sohail Peter from Lahore, Pakistan; Pastor/Dr. Eduardo Fernandes of the Riverside International Church in Cascais, Portugal; his daughter Gabriela Faria from Lisbon, Portugal, who ministered to Youth Leaders; Rev. Daniel Kitheka from Kenya/USA; and myself. Bishop Stevie Mulenga was our excellent Host who had made all of the ministry arrangements and preparations. 810 persons got saved, including many Muslims, and many were healed and delivered from evil possessions in the Open Air meetings.

From Wednesday through Saturday of each week we had between 1,000 – 5,000 in attendance at the daily Open Air Crusades, 160 – 200 in our 3 sessions daily of Pastors/Leaders, 250 average in Youth Leader attendance, and we all spoke in different churches every Sunday. An average of 20 different denominations attended in each city and we have been invited back by one denomination to speak to about 1,000 Pastors in their denomination in 2020.

Tanzania is surrounded and bordered by the 8 countries of Kenya, Uganda, Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Zambia, Malawi, and Mozambique. At the conclusion of each city Conference the attending Pastors prayed intensely for these countries as well as the U.S., Israel, Portugal and Pakistan. We had flags representing each country that were lifted high as prayer came forth. At the conclusion of our meetings, Pastor Mulenga attended and spoke at a Prayer Conference held in Tanzania for 3,000 Prayer Warriors gathered together from these 9 countries. There is a mighty real revival and awakening happening now in East Africa and they are praying for the nations of the world!

We had a blessed unity in the Spirit amongst our team members in accordance with Psalm 133. We prayed together every morning and gathered again in the evenings to recount the day’s activities and to give thanks for what God had done. We met great resistance from the adversary with some cancelled air flights, Tanzanian Immigration in Tabora trying to shut us down, sound systems and generators failing, and some sickness among our team members. But Jesus, as always, was the Victor and He manifested great power, miracles, glory, anointing, and grace in our midst. Thank you all for your prayers that were constantly going forth from the throne room of grace which covered us all.

Our vision is to continue taking international teams into East Africa and then take anointed African servants of God (Evangelists, Singers, and Translators) into European countries, beginning with Portugal in 2019. We call this a “Cross-Fertilizing or Cross Pollinizing” in the Spirit which is how the Apostle Paul operated. All of this derived from Matthew 4:23 and Matthew 9:35 where Jesus went about all Galilee in their towns and cities – “teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people”….teaching, preaching and healing. Matthew 9:36-38 then goes on to say – “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then said He unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into his harvest”.

Now, as we speak Mark Luce, WCO Board Member and Executive Director of New Dawn Communities, is holding dialogue seminars for Pastors and their wives in the cities of Lushoto, Handeni, and Moshi in Tanzania. These meetings center on practical problems and issues that African Pastors are facing daily in their ministries. Mark conducted similar secular type meetings for Chevron executives for 20 years throughout the world.

Also, Pastor Ron Sukut, the WCO U.S. Director of New Dawn Tanzania Operations has taken a group who are right now in Kenya to perform their annual Legacy Project with the New Dawn graduating seniors. When completed, they will then go on to New Dawn Tanzania at Ishinde Village to visit the construction in progress at that site. If all goes as planned this second New Dawn High School for Orphans is scheduled to open in January 2019.

We are so thankful for what God Almighty as done. Jesus was magnified and highly exalted in our midst as the African Pastors, Leaders, and Youth expressed their great appreciation for our coming together with them. But, we team members were the ones who were greatly blessed and we thank the Lord for making this all possible.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

In His love,

Brother Stan
